Praying the Catechism

Did you knpw that Bishop Susan Johnson has written a third edition of her Dad's book "Praying the Catechism.” ?

She talks about the book in an interview with the Lutheran World Federation.

" In the book, my dad was in conversation with Martin Luther and in this third edition, I join the conversation with my dad and Luther. The premise is 90 days of conversation to take you from Ash Wednesday to Pentecost, although it can be read any time of the year. It was originally designed to prepare adult catechumens for Baptism, but it is useful for anyone." 

Bishop Susan's revision of the first and second editions includes updated language, new daily prayers, and contemporary examples such as inclusivity, justice and peace issues, and the climate crisis.
