I heard from Turning Point last week and they are ready for more baskets. I will put the list and basket out this week. We need 10 bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and water bottles. 5 body scrubbers, 9 mugs, 7 body lotions, 8 puzzle books, 1 pkg of bic pens.
I am not gardening with the women from Turning Point any more. The garden is getting ready for winter and there isn’t enough for everyone to do. I want to let you know that there were between 6 and 8 women each all through the summer and one of them is going to be a permanent volunteer! It’s almost time to be raking up the leaves, so once again, if you are able to get your leaves into bags and bring them for the garden that would be wonderful.!We will have kale, swiss chard and carrots to last for the next few months.
