Delicious Flavors and New Friends

The kitchen was already buzzing with industrious energy at 9AM when I came into the church. Our Ukrainian friends were busy with the finishing touches for the cabbage rolls Oksana had prepared and frozen earlier in the week.  Others brought their favorite salads and delectable delights and someone brought a cake, too!  

After a formal rite of welcome for Marlene D. during the worship service, and gathering at the  Communion Table, we re-gathered in the church hall to continue our fellowship and celebration of incorporating Marlene into our community of faith.
