Annual Outdoor Service & BBQ

On September 8, 2024, our church held a special outdoor service under the sunny skies and the graceful cedar trees. It was a beautiful day as we celebrated the Season of Creation and gathered for the Blessing of the Backpacks to mark the start of the new school year.

 We were delighted to welcome the participants and their families from our Community Kitchen program, who joined us to show off and sell s their beautiful hand-painted bags as a fundraiser for the program. 

During the service, we blessed the backpacks of our students, sending them off with God’s grace and encouragement. The day was filled with joyful conversations and laughter among friends and visitors, making it a truly memorable occasion. Thank you to everyone who participated; your presence made it special! We look forward to gathering again under the cedar boughs next year!
